Welcome to St Mark’s Elm Tree C.E.V.A Primary School

Dear Parents

Welcome to St Mark’s, Elm Tree Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School website. I hope you find it useful and informative.

We are situated in Stockton on Tees, in the Parish of Holy Trinity with St Mark and within the Diocese of Durham. We describe ourselves as a successful, happy school and we are currently oversubscribed, indicating that we are popular with local families.

Our values are Christian in character and we aim to live out our mission statement, the first line of which is ‘We welcome everyone’as we believe Jesus did.

We also strive to ensure that every member of our community meets their full potential as a unique child of God and I’m sure you will notice that we have achieved ‘Investors in People’ Gold standard and ‘Inclusion Mark’ at gold standard. This indicates our commitment to high standards for all.

We are fortunate that we are able to celebrate parish Eucharist every Tuesday morning, led by our Vicar, The Reverend Paul Neville and if you wish, you are welcome to attend and worship with us. It helps to make us the unique school and church community that we enjoy and would like to share.  Please contact Mrs Todd in the school office for more details.

Please spend some time getting to know us by looking at our website, but the leadership team are more than happy to discuss aspects of school and church life with you if you wish.

Best wishes,

Mrs V Hall (Head Teacher)

Mr D Allday (Chair of the Governing Body)
