Our Local Advisory Board shares the distinct aims, ethos and vision of St. Mark’s C of E Primary School and One Excellence Trust. The Local Advisory Board are accountable to the Directors.
They work closely with Head teacher and school staff. LAB members are responsible to:
- ensure their Academy complies with its legal obligations.
- raise standards of academic Achievement
- recruit staff
- represent the views of the local community
- promote the values and ethos of the school and Trust
LAB members ask questions, gather information and help make decisions about the school. Our school’s Local Advisory Board meets in school once every term. Under St. Mark’s current structure all financial decisions for the school are made at Directors level.
