Y1 have had a fabulous time on our school trip to Preston Park. We were very proud of how the children behaved and we had lots of FUN!
Year 1 and Year 2 have enjoyed a Prayer Spaces afternoon with some of the Staff from St. Paul’s Church. They participated in lots of different activities that taught them more about the Christmas story. They impressed the teachers with their thinking, questioning and confidence.
During RE in Year 1, we have been learning about the Bible story of The Lost Son. We have learnt about how the Father showed love to his son, just like God does to us! We showed love to others by writing cards to people we love and writing prayers to God.
Year 1 have been learning about Seasons.
This week, Y1 children have enjoyed reading Jasper’s Beanstalk by Nick Butterworth. They have been acting out the story, investigating the areas related to the story and have even planted their own beans. We look forward to watching the beans grow!
